The history of Reebok story began in the late 19th century across the English Channel, when Joseph William Foster made a name for himself by designing the first running shoe with spikes, inspired by the shape of antelope hooves. The inventor's grandchildren travelled and invented the name Reebok in 1958, after the grey rhebok, a South African antelope.

Since then, the brand has become one of the most famous sports brands in the world.
