Collection: Crocs
The origin of this commercial fairy tale is on the sea. Three Americans bought shoes in Canada that were suitable for sailing. They did not slip or mark the deck of the boat. Conquered by these unpretentious clogs, the Colorado friends decided to buy the Quebec factory Créations Foam, which has been manufacturing them since 2001, as well as the patent that accompanies them.
The secret of these shoes is called Croslite. This material, an expanded plastic whose composition is jealously guarded, is moulded to become a shoe. It is washable, buoyant and has the added advantage of being "thermoformable", meaning that it takes the shape of the feet thanks to the heat they give off. Finally, the designers treat the shoes with an antibacterial product to prevent them from becoming impregnated with foot odour.
