Mélanie Elbaz es una fotógrafa francesa afincada en París e Ibiza.
Estudió en la Escuela Nacional Superior de Fotografía de ARLES y se graduó en la Escuela Icart de París.
Su trabajo se inspira en los códigos de la cultura callejera, la moda y la música personificada por Radio Nova (rap neoyorquino, afro-beat, garage británico, bossa nova, acid jazz...).
Mélanie ha recibido encargos de los principales sellos discográficos.
Acaba de publicar su primer libro "HOME GROWN". Cada una de las 70 fotos del libro es como el surco de un vinilo que revela instantáneamente el alma de un músico en un momento concreto de su vida como artista.
La obra de Mélanie está impregnada de su gusto por los viajes a lugares como África y América Latina, y de su pasión por la artesanía local, los tejidos, los bordados y las manualidades, así como por los fotógrafos americanos y africanos, y por el diseño moderno.
Todos los libros han sido firmados por Mélanie Elbaz en la tienda.
